SAQA Academic Qualification Verification

This service is to verify South African Qualification Achievements and to legalise your degree for presentation
in another country outside the borders of South Africa.

For South Africans seeking opportunities abroad or international scholars attracted to pursue studies in South Africa, authenticating your degree is often required by overseas institutions. This usually involves a two-step process: firstly, verification by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) and then Apostilled. Private individuals can apply on their own for a SAQA verification letter. Due to the complicated and time-consuming nature of the process, we strongly advise that SAQA verification and Document Legalisation best be done by Document Legalisation Experts. If an Apostille is not required, then this might be followed by further authentication by the Department of International Relations and Cooperation (DIRCO) and additional embassy checks.
